Mobile app development
One codebase, two native apps. React Native and Expo let me build for iPhone and Android together, so you aren't paying for the same features twice.
MVP development
We work out the smallest version of your idea that's worth launching, build that properly, and leave room to grow once you know what users actually want.
Feature development
I can pick up an existing React Native or Expo codebase, learn how it works, and add features that fit the way it's already built.
Backend and API integrations
Sign-in, user profiles, data that syncs across devices, server-side logic with Cloud Functions, and connecting your app to the third-party services it needs.
Subscriptions and payments
App Store and Google Play subscriptions through RevenueCat, and Stripe where web payments make sense — chosen to suit your product and the store rules.
Bug fixes and improvements
Crashes, slow screens, features that half-work. I find the cause rather than patching the symptom, and tell you plainly what I found.
App launch and deployment
Builds, store listings, screenshots, review requirements and over-the-air updates. I'll help you through submission — approval is always the stores' decision, but I know what they look for.

CommonQuestions
Do I need a technical specification?
No. Explain what you want the app to do and who it's for, in your own words. Working out what needs to be built is part of what I help with.
Can you work on an app someone else built?
Yes, if it's built with React Native or Expo. I'll look through the code first and tell you honestly what shape it's in before we agree any work.
How much does an app cost?
It depends entirely on what it needs to do. The enquiry form asks for a rough budget so I can suggest what's realistic — a focused first version usually costs far less than people expect, and a lot less than building everything at once.
Do you guarantee App Store approval?
Nobody can — approval is Apple's and Google's decision. What I can do is build to their guidelines from the start and prepare the submission properly, which is what I do for my own apps.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. I'm based in the UK and work remotely, so wherever you are, we can talk it through online.
